The Release of I Wonder

A powerful and timely tale about the small steps we can take to care for our world.

Just a few weeks to go before the release of I Wonder – A powerful and timely tale about the small steps we can take to care for our world. It’s a change for me from the writing of stories of the past. I Wonder looks into what we can do right now for the future. Perfect for children and inspired by the beautiful beaches of Queensland, I Wonder explores the themes of pollution and sustainability in a lovely story to share and read aloud.

The little wooden boat is forgotten, left behind in the sand dunes. Odd things pass it by, tumbling and floating into the ocean. The little wooden boat wonders and worries. Is it a forgotten thing … or could it be like the chip packet, the takeaway cup and the plastic bag? Could it now be waste, or litter, or even rubbish?

Thanks to the talented Nancy Bevington and Big Sky Publishing for your creativity and care! I’m looking forward to sharing some fabulous advance reviews over the next few weeks.
